Khartoum. September 2nd, 2009
Romano Prodi arrived yesterday evening in Khartoum (Sudan) and today will begin two days of meetings, as President of the Foundation for World Wide Cooperation, with the leaders of the Sudan Gorvernment of National Unity.
Objective is an exchange of ideas on the growth of the peace process in the Country and the discussion of possible future initiatives.
About the meetings, UN, African Union, European Commission and Italian Foreign Ministry had been informed.
